Summary of Position

Our client is looking to bring on an experienced Director of Finance to become an instrumental leader within their team and run point on the operational and strategic financial endeavors. This individual will be well-positioned help steer the client towards greater scalability, increased profitability and long-term success across multiple business units and geographies. While working alongside the existing local accounting and HR partners, this individual will oversee the daily financial operations and help craft the financial future of the company.


Responsibilities

•Establish, monitor and enforce procedures that pertain to the overall business

o Department budgets, equipment purchases, new client budget allocation

• Assist in driving the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives

o Forecasting, strategic planning

• Invest and secure untapped avenues that earn exceptional returns

o Debt financing, investments and acquisitions

• Organize, interpret and prepare financial data to display the financial condition of the company

o KPIs, growth projections, growth rate, internal reports, monthly investor reports

• Ensure legal compliance by researching and consulting

o New legislation, operational improvements

 

Required Experience

• Master’s Degree in business, financial, or related fields

• CPA/CFA/CMA

• 5+ years’ experience managing an accounting function or finance department

• 5+ years in public accounting

• Proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel and Tableau

 

Required Soft Skills

• Highly organized with an eye for detail and established methods to keep organized

• Hard working and the understanding that no job is too small to lend a hand

• Able to remain calm and positive in stressful circumstances

• Experience in high-growth startups (preferred)

 

Desired Qualifications

 

• Proficient with Salesforce, PowerPoint and Google Slides

• Natural relationship builder with a focus on data-driven sales

Communication skills (written, oral and presentation)

• Highly detailed-oriented planner with the ability to follow-through and close deals
